The way the world thinks of love is different from the way in which Paul explains it. We need to understand both views before we can overcome the gap between society and scripture. As a class, we should study love from Paul's perspective and from our society's perspective. We should find the gap where these ideas of love fail to meet and search for a solution to bring them together. What can we do as a class to spark change at Huntingdon to bridge the gap between society and scripture? Our project should unite the student body in an understanding of true love and how we can share love everyday in everything we do.
I propose that we, as a class, use the things we learn and study about love to search for a solution to the gap between what society tells us love is and what Paul tells us love should be. Our solution should be shown in some form of visual presentation (whether it be a video, art, or each of us standing on corners shouting our message), we should present our message to our peers and let our impact be our evaluation of our project.
